    Update: Links to Tags

Just updated my page a little and added a page with links to all (or at least most) of the tags I use on this blog. I know there are certain tags that don’t have very many posts because either I haven’t been tagging it for very long, or there just hasn’t been very many things that fall under the tag. Anyway, hope it helps your Beatles browsing! :)

I went to the Grammy Museum today and finally saw the George Harrison exhibit, and it was GREAT! In my opinion, it was even better than the John Lennon exhibit they had last year/earlier this year. There were SO MANY original clothes/costumes, classic guitars, handwritten lyrics, and photographs—it was amazing! It was a little surreal to see the clothes George wore at such iconic events, and I included some pics of the outfits that were there—Shea Stadium, Magical Mystery Tour/I Am the Walrus, Mad Day Out, and Concert for Bangladesh. His Gretsch Duo Jet and Rocky were also a couple of guitars on display—it was really cool to see Rocky in all its handpainted glory! It was cool to see his handwritten lyrics to so many of his greatest songs—Here Comes the Sun, Something, All Things Must Pass, Awaiting on You All, and While My Guitar Gently Weeps were all there! And there was also an interactive station where you could remix Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth)—I loved being able to listen to isolated tracks of that song (vocals, guitar, bass, drums, etc.)…so cool!

In short, it was fantastic and you definitely need to go if you’re in the L.A. area!! (There was also a smaller exhibit about Roy Orbison which I found interesting as well.) I’m so appreciative of Olivia and Dhani, and everyone else who made that exhibit possible!

    This is killing me…

I STILL haven’t been able to watch Living in the Material World because (a) I’m sooooo busy/my friend wants to watch it with me and (b) I haven’t been able to get a non-torrent link to the full movie (but you can find the first part on YouTube! …for now)

And  the George Harrison Exhibit at the Grammy Museum in Downtown L.A. just opened today…Can’t wait to drag my friends to go with me…perhaps multiple times hehehe ;) I’m slowly converting them into Beatles/George fans haha.
